Consumers can then search for trade professionals in their area and read reviews from other users.

To design a new logo thats more interesting, creative and meaningful. The current logo is restricted to a type only logo with a tick floating in middle with no purpose. The tick is synonymous with Checkatrade and this logo doesn't effectively communicate this or resonate with its online audiences. A great logo helps customers understand what they do and what sets them apart from its competition.

We conducted a detailed and thorough research of Checkatrade's industry, competitors, target audience, history, name and current use of colours. We quickly learned how the tick and its colour palette are iconic for this brand. We broke down our research to 3 key words…Tick, Building, and Feedback. Using these three words we were able to design a more interesting and creative symbol and to match it with a bold purposeful type face.
